Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement long-term strategies for their product categories, including product selection, pricing, promotion, and merchandising.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts, securing favorable terms, and ensuring product availability and quality.
- Responsible for optimizing the product range within their category, ensuring it meets customer needs and maximizes profitability.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies and promotional plans to drive sales and increase market share.
- Work closely with various departments, including marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance, to ensure alignment and effective execution of category strategies.
- Regularly monitor category performance, analyze sales data, and identify areas for improvement.
- Play a role in managing inventory levels to ensure product availability and minimize waste.
- Identify and resolve issues related to their category, such as supply chain disruptions or product performance problems.
- Effectively communicate category strategies and performance to internal stakeholders and external partners.
