Apply nowLearn more Reporting to Cluster Category ManagerDuty Post Head office, BGC, TaguigApplication Duration This job posting will remain open until the vacancy is filled.TA POC Jojo Robines, Talent Attraction ExpertCategory Manager - Marketing & Sales, IT, and Travel & EventWhat Is This Role AboutThe role supports procurement activities for the assigned category at local level, aligned with Cluster/Global strategies and proposing alternatives when needed.Key dimensionsAct as category liaison for Cluster Category ManagerManage initiatives within Cluster for sub-categoriesParticipate in financial planning and deliver value/savingsDrive cost optimization and continuous improvementApply Category Management and roll out implementation plansEnsure stakeholder collaboration and business partnershipManage local Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) in line with Cluster/Global directionsEnsure alignment and compliance with strategiesRole model in compliance and ethicsWhat Will You DoCategory Management StrategyManage procurement activities for assigned category in own location.Roll out Cluster strategies, ensure local implementation, and provide local insights for Global strategy.Apply Category Management principles and develop local plans.Support efficient supplier list management.Participate in financial planning and deliver savings/value.Supplier ManagementIdentify/manage local suppliers, negotiate strategic contracts, and ensure sustainable supply conditions.Recommend decisions to avoid inefficiencies and drive value-add projects.Manage SRM with key suppliers per Cluster/Global directions.Support innovative and sustainable supplier strategies.KPIs & TargetsAchieve procurement targets, KPIs, and savings.Lead/support supplier bidding processes to ensure best quality, cost, and service.Implement local strategy, monitor performance, and apply corrective actions.Drive cost optimization and continuous improvement.Business PartnershipFoster collaboration with stakeholders and align strategies with business needs.Ensure effective communication among procurement, business partners, and suppliers.Anticipate and resolve supply issues.Take on additional tasks/projects as assigned.Market IntelligenceShare category insights, identify trends, and apply best practices.Conduct risk assessments, build contingency plans, and research alternative suppliers.Proactively source innovative suppliers.What Are We Looking ForUniversity degreeMinimum 5 years work experience in FMCG company in supply chain / procurement management position with in-depth knowledge of Strategic Procurement Category Management related to Marketing and Sales, IT, Travel, Events or equivalent category, Sustainability and InnovationStrong strategic thinking, negotiation, and communication skillsFinancial analysis and leadership abilitiesKnowledge of business environment and decision-makingProficiency in MS Office and SAPAre you ready to join us?
