The
Accounting Associate 1
is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service in the following areas: assisting with owners' records and accounts, escrow transactions, accounts payable vendor setups, and owners' chargebacks. This role also requires cross-functional collaboration with the client's accounting department and management executives, including assisting with budget uploads and processing of owners refunds.

Job Description


• Maintains and updates owners' records, contact details, and supporting documentation in accordance with company policies.


• Assists with accounts receivable inquiries, including billing questions, payment status, and account updates.


• Processes escrow-related tasks, including welcome letters, coupons, and ownership documentation.


• Supports budget uploads and refund processing by coordinating with the client's accounting team and management.


• Generates and tracks check requests for owners' refunds.


• Creates and maintains logs for owners' chargebacks and related transactions.


• Coordinates with accountants, administrative assistants, and property managers to resolve account-related issues.


• Responds to owner inquiries within defined service-level timelines and escalates issues as needed.


• Maintains accurate records to support audit readiness and reporting requirements.


• Adheres to accounting procedures, data privacy standards, and internal controls.


• Performs additional administrative and accounting support tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications


• Demonstrates accuracy and strong attention to detail in financial data and documentation.


• Applies effective time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.


• Exercises sound judgment and problem-solving skills in handling account issues.


• Adapts to changing priorities while maintaining service quality.


• Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including accounting and operations.


• Clear and coherent both written and verbal communication skills in English.

Screening Criteria


• High School Diploma or GED required.


• Minimum of two (2) years experience in customer service and accounting support, accounts receivable, or financial administration.


• Experience in Microsoft Office, Google Mail, and Chrome.


• Must have stable employment history.
