Batangas, Calabarzon, Philippines PHILIPPINE RED CROSS Full time ₱150,000 - ₱250,000 per year

Purpose of Statement:

To receive and process payments and donations made by Philippine Red Cross (PRC) customers, donors, and sponsors on behalf of the Chapter.

Responsibilities

  • Collect payments by accepting cash and check payments from customers/donors;
  • Issue official receipts for funds received from customers and donors;
  • Prepare daily collection report to be submitted to the Chapter Administrator;
  • Deposits funds and collection to the accredited bank daily;
  • Prepare cash receipts schedule.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collects payments, cash, or checks and issues official receipts per transaction. All receipts must be issued with ORs;
  • Classifies and identifies collections, MAAB, blood, and donations;
  • Prepares collection report that tallies with the cash collected for the day;
  • Prepares deposit slip for the total cash collected to be deposited on the following banking day;
  • Submits to the CA the collection with the attached original copy of the duly validated deposit slip for checking and validation;
  • Submits the signed collection report with a deposit slip to the Chapter accountant/bookkeeper for further checking and recording;
  • Actively participated in the audit of the Chapter by providing the auditors with the needed documents and information;
  • Oversees the NAV implementation.

Qualifications/Minimum Education:

Required: Bachelor's Degree (4 Year Course) in accounting, business administration, or related field.

Work Experience & Skills:

  • 1-year work-related experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with applications such as Word, Excel, and PPT
  • Excellent organizational ability

Equipment Used: Computer, typewriter, scanner, printer, copier, telephone and fax machine

Working Environment: Chapter Based
