Job Summary:

Kayana is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Lead with significant hands-on experience in overseeing our DevOps strategy, automation pipelines, and cloud infrastructure operations. To lead the development and management of robust DevOps frameworks that support continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure automation, and to closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence, optimize cloud environments, and accelerate software delivery cycles— enabling innovation at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead DevOps strategy and execution, aligning with cloud-native and microservices architectures.
  • Design and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines to support secure and efficient deployments.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools.
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, testing, and monitoring processes to ensure speed, quality, and resilience.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, architects, security, and data teams to streamline development-to production workflows.
  • Monitor system performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency using observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Datadog, Grafana).
  • Drive the adoption of DevSecOps and cloud governance best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to DevOps engineers, promoting continuous learning and

excellence.

  • Support regulatory compliance and risk mitigation in alignment with FinTech industry standards.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP); multi-cloud experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, or GitHub Actions.
  • Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of network, security, compliance, and cost optimization in cloud environments.
  • Experience in supporting high-availability systems and mission-critical applications in regulated industries.
  • Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and team leadership skills.

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
