The Junior Assistant Stylist supports senior stylists and the salon team by helping deliver an exceptional client experience. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals passionate about hair, beauty, and customer service, and looking to grow their skills in a professional salon environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior stylists with prepping clients for services (shampooing, conditioning, blow-drying).
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of styling stations, tools, and salon areas.
  • Help with color mixing, towel and cape management, and general salon upkeep.
  • Provide friendly, professional assistance to clients during their visit.
  • Support stylists during cuts, colors, and treatments as directed.
  • Manage salon supplies — restock products and prepare stations for the next appointment.
  • Stay updated on current hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge.
  • Uphold salon standards of hygiene, safety, and customer care at all times.
