Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to oversee day-to-day financial transactions and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records for our church and columbarium development operations. The role covers general accounting, project cost monitoring, revenue recording, and compliance with BIR and LGU regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, journals, and ledgers.
  • Record revenues from columbarium unit sales, installment payments, memorial services, and church operations.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliation of sales and collections.
  • Monitor construction costs, contractor billings, and project-related expenses.
  • Prepare financial statements and assist in budget preparation and financial analysis.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of BIR monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and assist with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Safeguard financial documents and support the Finance Department in daily operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or related field.
  • CPA license is an advantage but not required.
  • At least 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience; exposure to real estate, memorial parks, or property development is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, BIR processes, and PFRS.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Willing to be assigned in Taytay, Rizal
