RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure full compliance with all BIR, PEZA, BOI, and SEC regulations, including timely submission of tax and statutory reports.
  • Manage and oversee the company's monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings, including VAT, income tax, withholding taxes, and other applicable government dues.
  • Maintain strong liaison with external auditors, accounting consultants, and government agencies.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of all financial statements and reports in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
  • Supervise general accounting functions including GL, AR, AP, bank reconciliations, and month-end / year- end closing activities.
  • Prepare and review supporting schedules for audits and government inspections.
  • Monitor compliance with PEZA and/or BOI incentives and related reporting requirements.
  • Lead the implementation and monitoring of internal controls.
  • Support strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Manage and mentor the accounting team.
  • Perform general administrative tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; CPA is required.
  • Atleast 4 years of experience in accounting or audit, preferably with exposure in external auditor public accounting firms.
  • Experience working with PEZA and / or BOI-registered companies is highly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of Philippine tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Proficient in using accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, or similar ERP platforms).
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
