Senior C++/RUST Backend Engineer, Futures

We are actively expanding our next-generation cryptocurrency exchange and seeking passionate, hard-working problem solvers to enhance our highly scalable, 24/7 trading system. As we continuously introduce new features and performance improvements, we need engineers who can drive innovation and optimize our platform.

In this role, you will collaborate with our Futures backend development team to enhance the exchange platform that has propelled Binance to become one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges. You'll tackle complex and unique challenges associated with running a high-performance platform that serves tens of millions of users globally, ensuring seamless 24/7 availability.

We're looking for a skilled backend engineer with deep expertise in system performance optimization to help us improve throughput and reduce response latency across our trading systems. You'll work on mission-critical components that require both precision and scale, focusing on ultra-low-latency performance.

• Design and develop high-performance components of our trading engine and real-time services.
• Optimize system internals including memory management, CPU cache usage (L1/L2/L3), and NUMA awareness.
• Conduct kernel-level tuning and real-time system profiling.
• Continuously monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive end-to-end optimizations across the full stack — from algorithms, data structures, and memory layout to system calls and NIC drivers.
• Build highly reliable backend services capable of handling sharp traffic surges in low-latency, high-throughput environments.
• Perform continuous stress testing and profiling (perf, flamegraphs) to ensure system stability and performance.
• Write production-grade code in C++ or Rust that is secure, fast, and scalable.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders using both English and Chinese to support cross-border project delivery.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of hands-on development experience in C++ or Rust.
• Strong understanding of system-level concepts: CPU architecture and cache behavior, lock-free programming, memory barriers, multithreading, and concurrency.
• Experience with network-level optimizations, including TCP tuning and kernel bypass; hands-on exposure to DPDK, io_uring, or XDP is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with advanced concurrency and networking techniques: zero-copy, busy polling, pinned threads.
• Proven track record in optimizing for low-latency and high-throughput environments, with experience in high-frequency trading (HFT), market data distribution, matching engines, custom protocols, or execution systems preferred.
• Proficiency in performance profiling and debugging tools (perf, flamegraphs, gdb, etc.).
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese, enabling effective communication with overseas partners and stakeholders.
• Background in financial technology or other real-time systems such as high-frequency trading, risk management, or market data infrastructure is a strong plus.
