About the Role:

As our Manager for Finance and IT, you'll play a key leadership role in strengthening our financial systems and driving digital transformation.

You'll oversee all financial and accounting operations—including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance—while managing the organization's IT strategy and infrastructure. This role combines strategic financial planning with hands-on management of outsourced IT services, ensuring both areas work together to support the organization's mission of advancing good governance in the Philippines.

What You'll Do:

Financial Strategy & Operations

  • Lead all budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities to ensure financial health and sustainability.
  • Oversee accounting operations (A/P, A/R, payroll, general ledger) and ensure compliance with tax and audit requirements.
  • Develop and maintain financial controls, policies, and reports aligned with IFRS/GAAP and organizational objectives.
  • Review financial documents, contracts, and board resolutions for accuracy and compliance.

IT Strategy & Oversight

  • Identify, plan, and implement IT system improvements to support organizational growth.
  • Supervise outsourced tech support and ensure service quality, system reliability, and cybersecurity compliance.
  • Manage IT infrastructure, including software, hardware, network operations, and data security.

Leadership & Representation

  • Present financial and IT performance updates in Management and Board meetings.
  • Lead process improvements and digital finance initiatives across departments.
  • Provide mentorship and direction to the Finance and IT teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's or CPA/CMA/MBA preferred)
  • 5–10 years of progressive experience in financial management, with exposure to IT systems or digital finance
  • Solid background in budgeting, financial reporting, audit management, and risk control
  • Experience using cloud-based ERP systems (e.g., Xero, Sprout) and Google Workspace tools
  • Knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity, and system integration principles
  • Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder communication skills
