
Loan Compliance Officer

You will be required to assist in all aspects of mortgage compliance, ensuring all loan files meet applicable legislation, lender requirements, and internal policies, which may at times extend beyond the duties listed below.
Managing the compliance and audit process daily, such as reviewing loan submissions, checking supporting documents, and liaising with brokers and lenders to ensure applications are accurate and compliant with industry standards.
This will require you to verify that all required documentation is uploaded in the system, review and adjust loan files to meet quality standards, and ensure strict adherence to ASIC regulations and lender checklists while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct compliance audits on Australian mortgage files.
- Review loan submissions and make necessary adjustments to meet lender and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure client documents are complete and uploaded in systems such as Infynity, Flex, and MyCRM.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all audit activities, findings, and decisions.
- Follow lender checklists and industry regulations to ensure end-to-end compliance.
- Monitor and identify gaps, risks, and potential non-compliance issues, providing recommendations for resolution.
- Deliver exceptional customer service when engaging with clients and other stakeholders involved in the loan application process.
You will be fully trained in the specific compliance and audit requirements and you will be responsible for prioritising your daily workload.

Responsibilities:
- Higher education degree preferred.
- 3-5 years in mortgage compliance or 7+ years overall mortgage experience.
- Strong background in loan processing.
- Proficient in Infynity, Flex, MyCRM, or similar platforms.
- Deep understanding of ASIC regulations, Australian lender policies, and compliance standards.
- Knowledge of Australian mortgage products and regulatory updates.
- Experience with major Australian lenders highly regarded.
- Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills (verbal and written).
