Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Database Administrator located in Taguig. The Database Administrator will be responsible for database administration, database design, troubleshooting, database replication, and maintaining the overall health and performance of database systems. Daily tasks include managing database security, backup, and recovery processes, as well as ensuring high availability and disaster recovery preparedness of databases.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Database Design and Troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Replication processes
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience in the banking or financial industry is a plus
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle DBA, Microsoft SQL Server) are beneficial
