About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Cook to join our team at Good Pastry Café' in Quezon City Metro Manila. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of delicious dishes for our customers, ensuring high-quality food is delivered every time. This is a full-time role, and you will be working as part of a dynamic kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and cook a range of menu items to the highest standard, ensuring consistent quality and presentation

  • Assist in menu development and creation of new dishes

  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, following all health and safety regulations

  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service

  • Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve kitchen operations and processes

  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of necessary supplies

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a Cook in a busy restaurant or café environment

  • Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure

  • Ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to a positive kitchen culture

  • Good communication and customer service skills

  • Passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
