About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chart Auditor to join our team at Novacare Administrative Solution's (NCAS) OPC' in Davao City, Davao del Sur. As a Chart Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient medical records, contributing to the efficiency and quality of our healthcare services. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work in the dynamic field of clinical/medical research.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting comprehensive reviews of patient medical charts to verify the accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards and guidelines
  2. Identifying and documenting any discrepancies or missing information in patient records
  3. Providing detailed feedback and recommendations to healthcare providers to improve the quality of documentation
  4. Collaborating with the clinical team to resolve issues and implement process improvements
  5. Maintaining detailed records and generating reports to track audit findings and trends
  6. Staying up-to-date with changes in medical coding, regulations, and industry best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Medical allied

  2. Relevant experience in medical coding, chart auditing, or a related healthcare field

  3. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic and procedural coding, and healthcare regulations
  4. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify and document discrepancies
  5. Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and data analysis tools
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare providers
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  8. Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and security of patient information
