Job Purpose

The Junior Internal Auditor – Financial & ERP Controls assists the Internal Audit team in evaluating financial processes, ERP system implementation, and related controls. The role helps ensure accuracy of data migration, master file setup, and financial reporting, while supporting senior auditors in general audit activities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. ERP & Financial Controls Support

  2. Assist in auditing ERP-related processes (financial, procurement, inventory modules).

  3. Support reviews of master file setups (chart of accounts, vendors, customers, items).
  4. Help assess ERP access rights and segregation of duties under guidance from senior auditors.

  5. Perform basic checks on data migration and report results to seniors.

  6. Reporting & Data Assistance

  7. Assist in testing ERP-generated reports and dashboards for accuracy.

  8. Help prepare reconciliations and data validations for audit purposes.

  9. Document audit findings and maintain working papers under supervision.

  10. General Audit Support

  11. Support financial and operational audits by performing assigned testing and data analysis.

  12. Track follow-ups on previous audit recommendations.
  13. Assist in preparation of audit reports and presentations to management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA (candidate) preferred but not required.
  • 1–2 years of experience in audit, accounting, or ERP support preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with Excel and reporting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
