Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of propeller systems in accordance with company and manufacturer standards.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical or performance issues in the field.
  • Prepare and submit technical service reports, including findings, actions taken, and recommendations.
  • Provide technical advice and support to clients regarding propeller system operations, maintenance schedules, and performance optimization.
  • Coordinate with the Sales, Logistics, and Parts departments for the timely delivery of services and replacement parts.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and environmental regulations during all service activities.
  • Maintain proper documentation and update the service database with all job-related details.
  • Assist in training junior service staff or client personnel as needed.
  • Continuously update knowledge on new propeller technologies, tools, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Licensed Engineer (preferred but not required).
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in technical service, maintenance, or repair of mechanical systems—experience with propeller systems is a strong advantage.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of propulsion systems.
  • Proficient in reading technical manuals, engineering drawings, and diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; customer-focused mindset.
  • Willing to travel for field assignments and work in variable conditions.
  • Physically fit and able to handle on-site mechanical work.
