QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor's degree or an associate degree.

  • Certifications: Safety Officer 3 certification from an accredited institution (e.g., DOLE in the Philippines).

  • Minimum of 1-year experience as SO3 in this position.

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Applications.

  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare, implement and evaluate safety programs applicable for the project .

  • Establish a professional relationship with workers.

  • Conduct daily toolbox to workers, technical staff and project engineers to remind them of the safe practices and hazards involve in the activities .

  • Maintain compliance with all safety regulations.

  • Prepare HIRAC for the project.

  • Document DOLE reportorial reports

  • Prepare and process work permits for the project as needed.

  • Inspect tools and equipment and liaise with the Engineers/Manager for the repairs/replacement needed regularly .

  • Prepare incident reports, record and investigate incidents to determine the cause and prepare methods and policies to prevent the reoccurrence of the incident .
