Job Description:Preferred skills

Advanced engineering, system administration, quality engineering (QE), support & testing of medium scale. Ability to build and design high-level solutions and develop high-complexity automation scripts with zero error (e.g., functionality, smoke, and regression scripts), written to be read as well as executed. Understanding of Life Insurance and related concepts and their application to Business Applications, including data flows between interfacing systems.

Experience in ReadyAPI, JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins is a must

Familiarity with service virtualization

Effectively utilize and influence multiple software development and deployment methodologies e.g., TDD, BDD, along with ensuring secure coding practices, best practices of testing, and Agile/DevOps principles. Strong knowledge and experience in DevOps and/or Cloud. Familiar with KAFKA, RestAPI, Rest Assured.

Experience in Java is a plus. Identify & influence continuous improvement opportunities and drive implementation for the team. Lead test script reviews and can sign off on small/medium test solutions.

Help the team have a broader view on deliveries and their impact; influence and resolve technical issues for the team. Conduct POCs/POTs by collaborating across platforms. Lead continuous testing for generic automated regression testing using approved tools/frameworks.

Advanced knowledge & expertise in two or more test automation frameworks and tools. ResponsibilitiesTest, design, support, and deploy advanced technology solutions of medium scale. Work independently and apply advanced engineering skills, tools, practices, and techniques to all deliverables.

Understand software requirements, contribute to estimations, and ensure quality for high-level solution design of intermediate complexity, simplifying it for others. Possess strong functional knowledge supporting your deliveries, and act as SME for the process/application. Participate in test scripts/scenarios reviews, contribute to quality governance metrics.

Apply business knowledge in designing test scripts and scenarios, including data flows between interfacing systems. Contribute to interviewing and assessing candidates to help build a diverse and talented team, and mentor quality engineers. Contribute to engineering events and motivate team members to participate and contribute.
