General Function:

Responsible for the timely submission of all reconciliation schedules in the General Accounting and Core Banking System including deposit liabilities report to Treasury and reconciliation of due to / from the Head Office / Branch Accounts, Manager's Check and due to/from other banks.

A. Reports and Reconciliation

  1. Reconciles and validates the correctness and accuracy of ALL GL accounts particularly from: - Due from BSP / Due to/from other Banks / Other Interoffice accounts / Temporary Accounts / Branch Transactions.
  2. Prepares the following reports for submission. - Daily / Weekly and Monthly (Cash In Vault) / Branches / ATM to Treasury / Deposit Liabilities to Treasury / Account Reconciliation schedules to FAD Head
  3. Responsible in ensuring accuracy and completeness of transactions passing through the core banking system (T24) and GL system (Noah)

B. Day - End Closing

  1. Performs validation on branch accounting entries
  2. Ensures zero floats on a daily basis
  3. Reconciles with the branches on the day-end balances

C. Ad hoc and Bank Function

  1. Acts as alternate of AP/MC custodian (Back-Up Function)
  2. Assists Regulatory Head in reportorial requirements (Back-Up Function)
  3. Performs other duties that may be assiend from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: College Graduate, BS Accountancy and other related business course

(CPA is a plus)

Experience: With at least Two (2) years work experience in the banking industry

Knowledge/Skills/ Abilities:

  • Experience in handling account reconciliation is an advantage
  • High level of skill in MS Office particularly in Excel
  • Familiarity with various regulatory reports - BSP
  • Well organized with bookkeeping skill
  • Detail-oriented and high efficient
  • Analytical and proactive
  • Good work attitude and dependable
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written
