HIRING FOR LAFAAYETTE LUXURY SUITES RESORT (Bauang, La Union)

Headquarter: Lafaayette Luxury Suites Hotel (Baguio City)

Description:

  • Oversee and manage the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Receipts, and General Ledger
  • Lead the annual budgeting process for the entire resort
  • Directly the entire purchasing section, ensuring adherence to resort policies and procedures
  • Oversee and review all reconciliations, including bank statements, capital assets, and trust account statements
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement) to the corporate management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting and purchasing teams, including accounting staff, cost controller, and stockroom supervisor
  • Set clear performance objectives, conduct performance reviews, and provide ongoing training and coaching
  • Foster a high-performing, ethical, and collaborative work environment
  • Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international financial regulations and reporting standards
  • Liaise directly with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
  • Manage tax compliance and submissions
  • Ensure the integrity of all financial data within the resort's accounting systems (PMS, POS, General Ledger)
  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard resort assets and prevent financial fraud
  • Ensure effective cost control measures are implemented across all departments
  • Review supplier contracts, terms, and conditions, including minimum order quantities (MOQ), to ensure optimal pricing and quality
  • Approve supplier selections and purchasing decisions based on detailed analysis
  • Monitor inventory management processes to minimize waste and optimize stock levels
  • Develop and implement financial forecasts to anticipate future financial performance
  • Conduct in-depth revenue and expenditure variance analysis, identifying significant deviations and their root causes
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors to optimize financial performance and control costs
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions
  • Take full responsibility for payroll processing, utilities management, and treasury functions
  • Manage cash flow, including cash forecasting and liquidity management
  • Supervise check runs, fixed asset activity, and debt activity reconciliations
  • Ensure all financial data is accurate, complete, and reliable for reporting and decision-making

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or better
  • Minimum of 3-5 years related supervisory/managerial accounting experience preferably in a hospitality setting
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
  • Possesses good administrative skills, organizational and team management skill, including record-keeping and financial analytical reporting skill
  • Ability to lead and make decisions; experienced in coaching and developing subordinates
  • Must be La Union based
