Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as a system engineer with a background administering enterprise-level Windows domains and serversDeploy, configure, upgrade, maintain and support Windows Server operating systemsDiagnose, troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalating more advanced issues to the senior engineers and vendors as necessaryProvide support, deployment, and management of SSL CertificatesProvide support for related IT areas, including servers, desktop presentation technologies, security and authentication technologiesProvide technical guidance and operational assistance to business and operational staffCreate and document procedures as neededConduct scheduled security checks and reviews and ensure compliance with the organizations Information Security ProgramsOther duties as assignedComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do soRequired Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with Windows Server management3+ years of experience with Active Directory in a large enterprise3+ years of experience supporting VMware environments (ESXi, vCenter, vROPs)3+ years of experience administering Windows domains using Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP or IP, Performance Monitoring Systems, Windows Deployment, Automation and Scripting.Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platformsExperience with PAS systems such as CyberArk and DelineaExperience with Microsoft Entra and Duo multifactor authenticationHands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platformsUtilize experience to implement automation using PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, GIT or other infrastructure as codeStorage or SAN or NAS understandingKnowledge of Windows Domain and Servers, including Forest, Trees, Trusts, AD FSMO roles, etc.Proficiency with managing VMware vSphere, Microsoft Terminal Server, Citrix, File Transfer, security or authentication or PAM or MFA appliancesAt UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
