Role Overview

The Chief Accountant is responsible for overseeing the organization's full spectrum of accounting and financial reporting activities. The role ensures the integrity of financial data, adherence to accounting standards, and effective implementation of internal controls within an educational institution setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end accounting operations of the organization.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll-related entries, and general ledger management.
  • Monitor budget utilization, support financial planning activities, and provide analysis to management.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and submissions.
  • Implement and enhance internal accounting procedures to improve financial accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management.
  • Strong technical knowledge in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php50, Php60,000.00 per month
