Job Description

  • Enhance the credit risk policies of the Bank that is aligned with the regulatory requirements and internal Bank risk thresholds

  • Review the existing credit risk appetite statements, limits, and thresholds for recommendation to the Board of Directors

  • Determine and monitor the Bank's potential financial losses attributed to credit risk against set limits and thresholds during BAU or stress scenarios/events

  • Conduct supporting analysis to the overall credit risk assessment to proposed new loan products and services

  • Design and implement various credit risk models of the Bank related e.g. Ascore/Bscore/Cscore/ECL models

  • Enhance usage and output of Bank's Credit Risk Management System to improve quality of credit risk reports

  • Perform independent credit review to ensure processes are within the approved Bank policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with the business and operations team to ensure strategies and processes are implemented towards reducing financial losses while maintaining profitability

  • Perform other related task which may be assigned by Credit Risk lead

Job Requirements

  • With at least 5-7 years experience in the banking industry particularly on credit risk management for both retail and corporate loans

  • With extensive knowledge on local regulatory requirements of credit risk

  • With strong proficiency on various data processing and statistical analytical tools such as R, Python, and SQL

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment

  • Problem-solving skills and a positive constructive attitude are a must

  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

  • Amenable to work in Ortigas, Mandaluyong City
