About the role

As a Client Operations Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing customer service and managing the sales processes for an assigned team of Account Executives. Your role is to assist with quoting, onboarding, demand planning, order history, price negotiations, software contract creation, account management, and account documentation. You'll become our AE's go-to for pre-sales support functions, including pre-qualification of accounts, product pricing, research, configuration, and product information.

As a Client Operations Specialist you will:

  • Build and bolster strong client relationships, maintaining a high level of service and satisfaction. Support the COAM by onboarding clients and projects, assisting with moderate complexity quoting, and helping with price negotiations.
  • Ascertain client needs and craft relevant solutions.
  • Maximize profitability through deal registration, partner negations, and relationships.
  • Take a proactive approach to inventory management and demand planning, , monitoring the pipeline, looking at order history, maintaining rollout schedules and t-minus schedules, leading GPO, creating software contracts, and engaging in lifecycle management.
  • Maintain account documentation, ensuring that all client interactions are tracked within our standardized templates and engagement portals.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University; or two to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience selling computer technology.
  • Strong knowledge of Insight tools, products, and services needed.
  • Strengths should include strong communication, strategic and critical thinking, and problem solving.
  • Must be self-driven, motivated, and results-oriented, particularly towards driving margin expansion and client retention.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and quickly develop trust with clients, as well as internal personnel.
