Job Summary:

Digital Transformation is happening at Duke Manufacturing We need a Senior Enterprise Software Developer that can build custom .NET applications (desktop/ web/ mobile), Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint Applications, build integration software for enterprise platforms, integrate manufacturing systems software and hardware, and route data throughout our enterprise. Responsibilities:

  • Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs
  • Testing and evaluating new programs
  • Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
  • Writing and implementing efficient code
  • Determining operational practicality
  • Developing quality assurance procedures
  • Deploying software tools, processes and metrics
  • Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
  • Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent with programming experience.
  • At lest 10 years of experience with C#, Visual Basic.NET, C++/CLI, and Typescript (Web: ASP.NET, Desktop: .NET Windows Presentation Foundation, API: ASP.NET Core WebAPI)
  • Experience with Web Front End Development Frameworks (Angular, React, Webix)
  • Database design and development (MS SQL Server, MySQL, NoSQL)
  • Strong background Object Oriented design and architecture
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity in working with the following IDE/Tool/s:
  • Visual Studio
  • Visual Studio Code
  • Strong knowledge of git

  • Continuous Integration (Jenkins)
  • Behavior Driven Development (SpecFlow, Selenium)
  • Azure Development: Azure Application Services, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, App Registration
  • Mobile Development: Xamarin Forms
  • SharePoint Development: Office 365 SharePoint
  • Salesforce Development: Apex programming
  • Data Integration: Jitterbit, Dell Boomi, Tibco Scribe
  • CAD Development

Schedule:

  • Hybrid
  • Mondays and Fridays (Work from Home)
  • Tuesdays to Thursday (Onsite)
  • Mid-shift: 12nn to 10pm
  • Additional every 2nd Friday rest day
