Primary Objective
The Senior People Advisor provides high-value, functional, and industry-specific consulting to key client accounts. This role is focused on advising client managers of offshore staff employed through our organisation in the Philippines, ensuring best practice engagement, compliance with Philippine labour law, and implementation of effective HR methodologies that drive staff retention, satisfaction, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Subject Matter Expertise (HR – Philippines)
- Act as a trusted HR expert with deep knowledge of Philippine labour law, employment regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Advise clients on talent management strategies, employee engagement, and retention frameworks suitable for offshore teams.
- Provide guidance on disciplinary procedures, performance management, and employee relations in line with PH labour law.
2. Strategic Advisory
- Challenge and guide client managers constructively on all aspects of people management and workforce strategy.
- Support clients in building high-performing, motivated teams by recommending evidence-based HR solutions.
- Anticipate future workforce needs and provide insights on best practice HR trends in both local and global contexts.
3. Process Design & Improvement
- Help clients optimise people processes by designing and implementing HR frameworks tailored to offshore team structures.
- Drive continuous improvement in employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, performance reviews, and exit management.
- Provide tools and templates that improve HR compliance and reduce risk for clients.
4. Presentation & Influence
- Present HR insights and recommendations persuasively to senior stakeholders.
- Use data-driven reporting and metrics to influence client decision-making on workforce planning and retention strategies.
5. Cross-functional Alignment
- Partner with Delivery, Account Management, and Business Development teams to ensure consistent, high-quality client experiences.
- Collaborate internally to align HR consulting with operational and commercial objectives.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Based in the Philippines with strong working knowledge of Philippine labour law and HR compliance requirements.
- 7+ years of HR experience, ideally with exposure to consulting, client-facing advisory, or professional services.
- Proven expertise in talent management, employee engagement, and retention strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical ability to interpret HR data and provide actionable insights.
- Experience working with offshore staffing models or professional services is highly regarded.
