About the role

As the Utilization Review Nurse Team Leader at Access Healthcare Services Manila, Inc.', you will play a pivotal role in leading and mentoring a team of Utilization Review Nurses. Based in the heart of Taguig City, Metro Manila, this full-time position offers opportunities for career growth and development within a dynamic healthcare organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the Utilization Review Nurse team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
  • Provide guidance, coaching and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Monitor and analyse team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the timely review and approval of healthcare services
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies and procedures related to utilization review
  • Champion a positive team culture and foster a collaborative work environment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements and best practices

What we're looking for

  • Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a relevant healthcare-related field
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Utilization Review Nurse or similar role, with demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, insurance policies and medical necessity criteria
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficient in using healthcare-related software and information systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
