Job Overview:

We are seeking a Mechanical Designer/Detailer with experience in designing or detailing components for balancing machines used in mining and heavy industrial equipment. The role requires strong proficiency in Creo and AutoCAD, producing accurate 2D/3D models of rotating machinery that require precise weight distribution and proper balancing. This position supports critical mining equipment where safety, reliability, and vibration control are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed 2D and 3D models of rotating equipment using Creo and AutoCAD.
  • Design and detail components requiring balancing, including crushers, hammer mills, ball/SAG mill rotors, fan rotors, pump impellers, conveyor pulleys, and drill rotors.
  • Interpret balancing-machine data and incorporate corrective actions into drawings (e.g., drilling, welding, adding/removing weight).
  • Prepare fabrication, assembly, machining, and welding drawings with accurate tolerances and BOMs.
  • Ensure all designs reflect correct mass distribution, structural integrity, and vibration reduction requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers to resolve design issues and support equipment reliability improvements.
  • Maintain documentation accuracy, revision updates, and adherence to engineering standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Structural Engineering (preferred).
  • Mandatory experience in designing/detailing components for balancing machines or rotating mechanical equipment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Creo and AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical balance, weight distribution, and vibration behavior.
  • Experience with mining or heavy industrial machinery (advantageous).
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and technical documentation discipline.
  • Willing to work in the office full-time at Arcovia City, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City. (Monday - Friday, 7AM to 4PM)
