As a Medical Underwriter, you will play a key role in evaluating health-related information to determine insurance coverage and risk levels. Your decisions will directly impact the integrity and sustainability of our healthcare and insurance services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and assess medical records, applications, and health declarations.
  • Analyze risk factors and determine eligibility for coverage.
  • Collaborate with physicians, claims analysts, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and decision logs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medical Technology, or any health-related field.
  • Experience in medical underwriting or clinical review is an advantage.
  • Experience in handling HMO / insurance
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and underwriting systems.
