Job Summary:

The Head of Human Resources will lead the HR function, ensuring strategic alignment between business goals and HR strategies. This role oversees all aspects of HR management including talent acquisition, employee engagement, organizational development, compensation and benefits, performance management, labor relations, and compliance with local labor laws. The HR Head will play a key role in shaping the organization's culture and supporting its growth and transformation.

Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business goals.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the executive team on human capital and organizational issues.
  • Drive cultural transformation and change management initiatives.

  • Talent Acquisition & Management

  • Oversee recruitment strategies to attract top local and regional talent.

  • Implement workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Lead onboarding, retention, and employee development programs.

  • Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Foster a positive and productive workplace culture.

  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters in line with labor laws and company policies.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement and wellness programs.

  • Compensation & Benefits

  • Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits packages.

  • Conduct benchmarking and job evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor standards on wages, benefits, and working conditions.

  • Performance Management & Learning

  • Oversee performance appraisal systems and ensure alignment with business performance.

  • Lead training and development initiatives to upskill employees.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and feedback.

  • Labor Law Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with the Philippines Labor Code and other statutory requirements (e.g., DOLE, SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth).

  • Maintain updated knowledge on labor legislation and HR trends.
  • Handle audits and liaise with government agencies when necessary.

  • HR Operations & Systems

  • Oversee HRIS implementation and data management.

  • Ensure efficient and secure handling of employee records.
  • Continuously improve HR processes and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • At least 4 years of progressive HR experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Solid understanding of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience in leading HR in a medium to large organization (preferably with regional or multinational exposure).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
