The Clinical Research Associate (CRA) is a full-time role responsible for supporting and managing all research activities at Meraki Esthetique. This position covers clinical data handling, photo-based outcome evaluation, literature review, trend tracking, product research, and academic support.

You will help build the Meraki research database, monitor global aesthetic trends, support surgical & non-surgical studies, prepare research materials, and assist in creating content for publications, presentations, and internal programs.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, research-driven, and eager to grow in the field of facial aesthetics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Clinical Research & Data Management


• Collect, encode, and organize clinical data from patient charts, digital records, and surgical notes.


• Maintain the Meraki Aesthetic Outcomes Database.


• Conduct regular data validation (accuracy checks, completeness review).


• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with data privacy protocols.

B. Photo Documentation & Outcome Evaluation


• Retrieve and organize postoperative and follow-up photographs.


• Label, categorize, and store images properly using standardized naming conventions.


• Apply outcome grading scales (once trained) to evaluate results for internal research.

C. Literature Review & Scientific Research


• Conduct literature searches on new surgical and non-surgical facial aesthetic techniques.


• Summarize key findings, compare methods, and highlight innovations.


• Prepare research briefs and technique summaries for the Medical Director.


• Track global trends in Korea, Thailand, US, and Southeast Asia.

D. Beauty Trends & Market Research


• Monitor beauty, skincare, and wellness trends.


• Track product launches, ingredient innovations, viral beauty topics, and consumer behavior.


• Prepare trend reports and insights relevant to Meraki's services and branding.

E. Product Specifications Research


• Study product features (skincare, injectables, tools, devices, EBDs, threads).


• Create product comparison sheets and technical summaries.


• Assist in evaluating suitability for Meraki use.

F. Manuscript, Publication & Presentation Support


• Prepare tables, charts, and figures for research outputs.


• Assist with drafting methods/results sections of manuscripts.


• Format studies for journal submission (training provided).


• Organize materials for lectures, conferences, and workshops.

G. Research Operations & Documentation


• Maintain research folders, study logs, literature libraries, and version control.


• Track research timelines and report progress weekly.


• Assist in developing SOPs for data collection and research workflow.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:


• Bachelor's degree in a health-related, research, or science field (Nursing, Biology, Psychology, Public Health, Medical Technology, etc.)


• Strong organizational and analytical skills


• Excellent attention to detail


• Good written communication and documentation skills


• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets


• Ability to follow protocols and work independently


• Professionalism and respect for confidentiality

Preferred:


• Research experience or exposure to data handling


• Background in clinical or aesthetic settings


• Basic statistics knowledge


• Familiarity with medical or scientific writing


• Interest in beauty, skincare, and aesthetic trends


• Experience reading scientific journals

COMPENSATION


• Competitive salary ₱20,000 – ₱35,000/month (depending on experience)
