Duties and Responsibilities of an Inventory Specialist

· Counts all store products and supplies.

· Analyzes sales records and compares them to physical store inventory.

· Reports and discrepancies to inventory team.

· Maintains cleanliness and organization of the area.

· Puts in orders for new supplies.

· Locates and removes expired or defective merchandise from the sales floor.

· Packs up defective items for return, creates shipping labels, and mails items.

· Uses computerized inventory software to record, track, and maintain all inventory related data.

· Assists customers on the sales floor when necessary.

· Accepts and signs for store deliveries.

· Unloads deliveries and stores them appropriately in the stockroom.

· Replenishes stock on the sales floor.

· Adjusts inventory reports to account for new deliveries.

· Assists in closing sales and providing customer service.

· Ensures that all stock on the sales floor is organized, properly stored, and in good condition.

· Assists in cleaning the store during closing shifts.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Demonstrates proficiency in the use of inventory software.

· Possesses specific knowledge of company's range of products and services.

· Exhibits ability to interpret and explain inventory.

· Possesses physical strength necessary to unload and restock supplies.

· Pays close attention to detail.

· Demonstrates strong organizational skills.

· Exhibits ability to think creatively in order to devise best inventory control practices.

· Possesses a keen eye for organization.

· Demonstrates strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

· Works well with a team.

Work Environment & Experience

· Work experience in retail and/or inventory control is strongly preferred.

· Working hours will be spent in the organizing inventory.

· Shifts vary from day to evening.

· Physical labor such as lifting and moving heavy boxes of supplies may be required on a regular basis.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php17, Php21,000.00 per month
