Job Description:

An Inventory Analyst and Control Specialist is responsible for managing, analyzing, and optimizing inventory levels to ensure the efficient flow of goods within an organization. This role involves tracking inventory, forecasting demand, minimizing shortages or excesses, and implementing inventory control policies to maximize operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Analysis:

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure they align with company goals and operational needs.
• Analyze historical sales data and forecast future inventory requirements to meet customer demand.
• Identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies in inventory data to optimize stock levels.
• Prepare and present inventory reports to management, highlighting key metrics like turnover rates, stockouts, and excess inventory.

Inventory Control:

• Implement inventory control procedures to minimize losses and ensure accurate stock counts.
• Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
• Manage inventory discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards regarding inventory management.

Demand Planning and Forecasting:

• Collaborate with sales, procurement, and production teams to forecast demand and plan inventory purchases.
• Adjust inventory strategies based on market trends, seasonal fluctuations, and customer behavior.
• Develop and maintain a safety stock strategy to prevent stockouts during high demand periods.

Procurement and Supply Chain Coordination:

• Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and avoid delays.
• Monitor lead times and communicate with vendors to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Negotiate with suppliers to reduce costs and improve inventory efficiency.

Technology and Systems Management:

• Utilize inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems) to track and analyze inventory data.
• Ensure data accuracy in inventory tracking systems and update records regularly.
• Recommend and implement technology upgrades to improve inventory management processes.

Cost Management:

• Identify ways to reduce inventory carrying costs while maintaining adequate stock levels.
• Monitor and control inventory shrinkage due to theft, damage, or obsolescence.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization to reduce storage costs.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Communicate inventory-related insights and recommendations to management and other departments.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth inventory movement and storage.
• Support cross-functional teams in achieving operational goals related to inventory.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience of 5 years:
• Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role.
• Familiarity with inventory analysis tools and ERP systems.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Excel.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php40, Php50,000.00 per month
