Anti-Pol is seeking a Payroll Clerk to support its growing team

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gather information on hours worked for each employee on a semi-monthly basis (or as required by management)
  • Compute payroll amounts incorporating overtime, deductions, taxes, etc. using excel
  • Prepare and distribute payslips on a semi-monthly basis (or as required by management)
  • Prepare and distribute final pay including supporting documents (e.g., certificate of employment, 2316, etc.)
  • Keep track of hourly rates, compensation benefit rates, new hire information, etc.
  • Address any issues or questions regarding payroll from employees, superiors, or management
  • Prepare reports for upper management, finance department, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Accounting or related
  • At least 1 year of experience in an accounting-related field; payroll experience a plus
  • Computer savvy
  • Can work independently or in a team
  • Must be willing to travel (to collect payroll information for project sites)
