About the role

MIMS (MediMarketing, Inc.) is seeking an experienced Finance Lead to join our team in Makati City, Metro Manila. In this full-time role, you will perform a variety of routine and non-routine accounting functions with significant focus on General Ledger accounting.

What you'll be doing

  1. Collaborate with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial information.
  2. Review and audit on financial data to assure its accuracy, completeness, and  compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  3. Ensure that financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards.
  4. Align general ledger accounting practices to support budgeting and forecasting.
  5. Record and review financial data such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledgers.
  6. Perform account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct.
  7. Reconcile subsidiary ledgers and accounts with the general ledger.
  8. Maintain proper documentation and ensure accurate recordkeeping for all financial transactions.
  9. Monitor unbilled transactions and coordinate monthly unbilled meetings with the Business Sales team.
  10. Stay updated on accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices to ensure continuous process improvement.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor of Science Major in Accountancy or Finance
  • At least five (5) years' experience in general ledger
  • In-depth knowledge of Accounting standards
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and internal controls.
  • Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite or similar ERP software) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
