Tier 1 Technical Engineer - NetStaff4Me is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tier 1 Technical Engineer specializing in networking to join our team. This role involves providing first-level technical support to clients, focusing on networking issues and solutions. You will troubleshoot and resolve client inquiries effectively using your technical skills.
ResponsibilitiesRespond to customer inquiries regarding networking issues, configurations, and troubleshooting. Monitor, diagnose, and resolve network connectivity problems for clients. Document interactions with customers in our ticketing system and provide timely updates.
Assist in setting up and configuring networking equipment as needed. Collaborate with Tier 2 support teams to escalate unresolved issues and document cases thoroughly. Maintain current knowledge of networking protocols, configurations, and best practices.
Provide training and support for clients on networking tools and resources. Participate in team meetings to discuss issues, share knowledge, and improve support operations. QualificationsExperience in technical support, preferably focused on networking.Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
Strong understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
Familiarity with networking tools (e.g., Wireshark, Cisco Packet Tracer) is a plus. Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment. BenefitsFree one meal per day
