Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Global Sourcing and Production Manager to oversee and optimize domestic and international purchasing operations. This role focuses on cost-effective sourcing, production management, vendor relations, and logistics, ensuring alignment with the company's operational goals and commitment to quality. A key aspect of this role involves building strong supplier relationships, supporting business plan, and enhancing supply chain efficiency.

Our client is a well-established specialty retail company based in Florida, known for bringing seasonal joy and festive charm to both commercial and residential clients. This is a remote job, and once hired, you will work directly to the client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the sourcing, development, production, vendor relations, and logistics of domestic and international purchases.
  • Conduct an annual review of suppliers and vendors to ensure best value and performance.
  • Oversee quality control standards for all production items.
  • Travel to China (and other locations as needed) to meet with vendors and conduct on-site quality inspections.
  • Create and maintain product SKUs, costing, and records in the system.
  • Manage and track payment processing for purchased products.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to purchasing, production, and product management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in sourcing, production, logistics, and supply chain management.
  • At least 3+ years working with international vendors, particularly in Asia.
  • Ability to travel internationally (minimum of once per quarter).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Must be amenable to working following US time: 8PM to 5AM
  • Good with independent contractor employment type
  • Can speak basic Mandarin
