ABOUT THIS ROLE:
We are looking for a Senior Accountant with solid
US Accounting and Tax
experience.This role is ideal for someone who has moved beyond junior responsibilities and is confident handling end-to-end accounting and tax compliance for a diverse range of US clients. experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Perform account reconciliations, including bank accounts, credit cards, and key balance sheet accounts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and adjusting entries.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, identifying trends and potential risks.
  • Utilize QuickBooks to manage financial transactions, generate reports, and improve efficiencies.
  • Work directly with multiple clients, providing financial insights, resolving accounting issues, and ensuring proper financial management.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' US accounting experience
  • Expert in using QBD and QBO
  • Experience managing SMEs, trusts, and HNW client portfolios
  • Leads compliance work end-to-end with minimal supervision
  • Reviews work of staff, juniors, and intermediates
  • Provides tax planning and handles IRS/state correspondence
