About the Role

As a Senior Paraplanner, you'll act as a strategic partner to our brokers and a subject-matter expert within the team. You'll take ownership of complex loan structures, oversee high-value and specialised cases, and ensure every recommendation meets best-practice compliance standards. Beyond the numbers, you'll help refine processes, mentor junior paraplanners, and contribute to a consistently exceptional client experience.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead in-depth research and analysis of mortgage products, rates, and lender policies
  • Structure and review complex loan scenarios with a strong strategic and compliance focus
  • Oversee end-to-end loan submission packages, ensuring accuracy and regulatory alignment
  • Provide expert guidance to brokers on advanced lending solutions and strategy
  • Stay across Australian mortgage regulations, lender policy changes, and industry trends
  • Mentor and support junior paraplanners through coaching, quality checks, and knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes, efficiency, and service standards
  • Support client interactions by clearly explaining loan recommendations and strategies when required

About You

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in paraplanning or advanced mortgage support
  • Strong expertise in Australian mortgage products, including complex and non-standard lending
  • Highly analytical with a strategic, solution-focused mindset
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident using mortgage platforms, financial tools, and CRM systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A natural mentor who enjoys lifting team capability and standards
