The Opportunity
As the Pastry Chef (R&D and Training Team) at Lola Cafe', you will play a crucial role in developing innovative pastry creations and training our kitchen staff to deliver exceptional baked goods. This is a full-time position based in New Manila, Quezon City, Metro Manila.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new and unique pastry recipes to expand the cafe's menu offerings Oversee the production of all pastries, ensuring consistently high quality and presentation Train and mentor the kitchen team on proper pastry preparation techniques Collaborate with the culinary team to create complementary desserts and plated dishes Maintain kitchen organization, cleanliness, and inventory control Ensure compliance with all food safety and health regulationsWhat We're Looking For
Minimum 3 years of experience as a pastry chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry Formal training in baking and pastry arts, with a culinary or pastry arts degree preferred Excellent knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and flavour pairing Strong creative and innovative mindset to develop unique pastry offerings Ability to work collaboratively with the culinary team and manage kitchen staff Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentationWhat We Offer
