ROLE PURPOSE:

  • To provide support and assistance in activities and initiatives that result in recommendations to the Company's investment planning and, budget and regulatory exercises.
  • Support the department in leading the annual budget exercise including preparations and consolidation of budget submissions and reports to the management for approval
  • To prepare reports and analysis on the consolidated financial performance of the company compared to Budget or Forecast and to highlight and present key trends that will impact management's decisions.
  • Prepares and reviews financial models for investment requirements, determine returns and financing requirements, review opportunities for capital expenditures, new business developments and other Enterprise projects and initiatives, and to make recommendations aligned with the strategic objectives of the Company.
  • Provides regulatory support for the Non East Zone and the subsidiaries. Provide economic and industry research, as needed.
  • To work on special requirements and tasks, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Min 3 years of financial analysis, financial modelling, exposure to corporate finance
  • BS Finance, Business Admin, Economics, Accountancy, Financial Engineering, Math

  • Annual Consolidated Budget (with analysis and presentation deck)
  • Financial Models of the Enterprise and the subsidiaries
  • Annual and monthly Financial Reports/ presentation for the Management, MWC Board
  • Regulatory (Tariff) Models
  • Finance Models (with Financing Plan)
  • Appropriate Discount Rate
  • Portfolio Review using financial metrics
  • Investment/ Divestment Execution Plans
  • Impairment Review
  • Memo on Review of CAPEX and NBD Projects, and Other Enterprise Projects and Initiatives subject to Management Approval
  • Policies governing internal processes, such as but not limited to Investment Committee (IC) and pre-IC Policy
  • Output as required by the project
