Production Control Specialist

  1. Perform regular inspection and monitoring of product quality on all phases and various levels of production processes. This includes verification of cGMP, PRP, Operational Pre-requisite program and CCP.

  2. Understand the basic of quality management system and food safety principles as basis of conducting quality control inspections.

  3. Prioritizing, organizing, solving problems, and completing tasks independently, under minimal supervision.

  4. Immediately correct the production worker team/s about quality control concerns to improve product excellence.

  5. Hold and segregate all non-conforming products and materials in production line that fail to meet quality expectations.

  6. Facilitate and oversee all reprocessing activities on non-conforming products and ensure audit trails.

  7. Ensure that released finished goods have met all necessary acceptance criteria prior transferring to warehouse.

  8. Recommend improvements to the production process to achieve optimum productivity and minimize downtime, waste stage or losses.

  9. Document inspection outcomes by completing monitoring and detailed reports.

  10. Train and support production worker teams in all production related aspects.

  11. Adhere and strictly implement the established Food Safety procedures and policies to maintain a safe, healthy and harmonious working environment.

  12. Provide periodic reporting of all what were observed in the production and put forward suggestions for improvements. These includes effective production strategy, downtime, non-conformance.

  13. Report all observed non-conformity to Production Head to ensure that quality and food safety-related issues are controlled and resolved in a timely manner.

  14. Revise/edit quality procedure of production department and create process flow, design measurement for assigned projects.

  15. Checking of production activity report made by line leaders and correct when necessary.

  16. Schedule/plan entire production activities in the absence of Production Head.

  17. Coordinate with Production Head when production lines have a lacking member because of absences.

  18. Motivate, encourage and evaluate production workers performance towards their work.

  19. Participate in meetings and trainings related to logistics, safety, and operations.

  20. Perform other duties as necessary in meeting the objectives/mission of the department and/ or as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Graduate of BS Food Technology.

  2. Has previous work experience in food manufacturing company

  3. Computer literate

  4. Attention to detail.

  5. Highly organized

  6. Oral and written communication skills

  7. Strong analytical skills
