The Meter Spot Coordinator is responsible for liaising with utility companies to coordinate and secure meter spots for upgrades, relocations, or new installations of residential main electrical service panels. This role ensures all necessary approvals and site visits are completed to facilitate timely project execution, working closely with customers, utility representatives, and internal teams.


Key Responsibilities

· Coordinate with utility companies to request, schedule, and secure meter spots for residential service panel upgrades, relocations, or new installations.

· Submit required documentation and applications to utilities in accordance with their guidelines and processes.

· Arrange and attend site visits with utility representatives, electricians, and other stakeholders as needed.

· Communicate and follow up with utility contacts to monitor the status of requests and expedite approvals.

· Advise internal teams (project management, engineering, construction) on utility requirements, timelines, and any site-specific conditions.

· Maintain accurate records of all communications, meter spot requests, approvals, and site visit outcomes in company systems.

· Inform customers of process steps, status updates, and any actions required on their part.

· Monitor changes in utility policies or procedures and communicate updates to relevant teams.
