Generative AI Specialist

Role Description:

We are seeking an innovative Generative AI Specialist to join our Marketing & Communications team. In this role, you will leverage generative AI tools and technologies to enhance content creation, streamline processes and automate content distribution across our digital channels. You will be responsible for bringing our generative AI capability and product roadmap to life through our web experience, driving cross-channel digital experience (DX) and user experience (UX) in collaboration with digital experience teams and channel owners. Additionally, you will own our generative AI search strategy and content mapping for the new , ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for our audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

AI Integration & Strategy:

• Design, test, and refine prompts for AI models to optimize output quality and relevance.
• Identify and implement generative AI tools to support content creation, idea generation, and campaign development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI use cases aligned with business goals.
• Develop best practices and guidelines for ethical and effective use of AI in marketing.
• Own and drive the generative AI search strategy and content mapping for the new 
• Ensure ethical, secure, and responsible AI use by aligning with compliance and governance standards.

Web & Cross-Channel Experience:

• Bring the generative AI capability and product roadmap to life through our web experience, ensuring innovative and user-centered solutions.
• Work closely with the UX lead and channel owners to drive cross-channel DX/UX improvements using generative AI.
• Optimize AI-generated web content to enhance engagement and usability across platforms.
• Automate content distribution for digital channels, ensuring efficient and effective reach.

Research, Data Analysis & Modelling:

• Conduct research and data analysis to inform AI-driven strategies and solutions.
• Conduct research and experimentation to improve prompt engineering techniques.
• Develop predictive models for content performance and audience interaction.
• Utilize analytics and reporting tools to create automated reporting systems.

Training & Enablement:

• Train MarComms team members on how to effectively use generative AI tools in their workflows.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for AI tool usage across the team.
• Stay updated on emerging AI trends and share insights with the team.
• Create technical documentation, best practices, and training materials.

Performance Analysis & Reporting:

• Monitor the effectiveness of AI-driven content and campaigns using analytics tools and metrics.
• Report on AI impact, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
• Evaluate cost-effectiveness and ROI of generative AI tools and solutions.

Requirements (Knowledge, Experience & Key Qualifications):

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in machine learning, Natural language processing, or deep learning roles.
• Extensive experience with prompt engineering and building AI assistants/agents using Copilot, ChatGPT, and/or other tools.
• Extensive experience in applying GenAI to business use cases and using it in professional settings.
• Experience in crafting and fine-tuning prompts for AI models.
• Understanding of generative AI ethics, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret model outputs and optimize performance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Strong attention to detail
• Good project management skills
• Able to prioritise workload, work well under pressure and deliver high quality output that meets tight deadlines
• Ability to influence and coach digital communications capabilities in others
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
