Procurement Functional Consultant

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (amenable to onsite as required)

About the Role

We are looking for a Procurement Functional Consultant to join our Procurement Advisory team. In this role, you will help drive digital transformation initiatives, lead end-to-end procurement system implementations, and support clients across various industries. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, configure procurement platforms, and ensure a smooth transition from design to go-live.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Implementation

  • Lead or support requirement gathering, process design, system configuration, testing, and go-live activities.
  • Understand client pain points and recommend optimized procurement solutions.
  • Support post-implementation activities under Application Maintenance Support.

Client Engagement

  • Conduct workshops, requirement sessions, and status meetings with clients.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure successful project delivery.

Technical & Functional Execution

  • Work on procurement modules such as sourcing, contract management, supplier management, and P2P/S2P.
  • Configure workflows, approval hierarchies, and integrate procurement tools with ERP systems.
  • Support data migration, cleansing, and validation during implementations.

Project Management

  • Work with cross-functional teams using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Assist in user training, change management, and documentation.
  • Manage or contribute to end-to-end project delivery across various levels.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Create or customize procurement dashboards and reports.
  • Track procurement KPIs such as cost savings and supplier performance.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience in end-to-end implementation of procurement solutions.
  • Background with procurement platforms such as Coupa, Zycus, Ivalua, or similar (SAP Ariba, Oracle, etc.).
  • Strong client-facing experience—requirement gathering, workshops, presentations.
  • Functional skills in S2P/P2P processes, integration, workflow configuration, and data activities.
  • Experience working with cross-functional project teams.
  • Knowledge of procurement reporting and analytics.
Good to Have
  • Certifications: Coupa, Ariba, Ivalua, Zycus, PMP, Six Sigma, or related.
  • Experience in manufacturing, retail, pharma, or shared services environments.
