Job Description

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you'll manage hybrid IT environments, ensure infrastructure availability, support automation initiatives, and collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams. This role covers operations, security, governance, and continuous improvement to deliver reliable global infrastructure.

The Qualifications We Seek

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in infrastructure engineering or system administration
• Proven Linux server administration experience (minimum 2 years), including configuration, patching, and monitoring
• Hands-on Microsoft 365 administration experience, managing 300+ users
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure administration on AWS or Azure environments
• Experience with hypervisors and virtualization platforms such as VMware, Proxmox, Nutanix, or KVM (minimum 2 years)
• Knowledge of Windows Active Directory, including authentication configuration for Linux flavors
• Experience configuring Entra ID / Azure AD SSO using SAML or OIDC protocols
• Solid understanding of core networking concepts, including VLANs, segmentation, and firewalls
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell or Bash
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills in multi-environment infrastructures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desirable Skills

• Experience in regulated or security-conscious environments
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Exposure to CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins)
• Experience with containerization platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft 365)
• Familiar with cert-based auth and ssh tunnels/jumphosts

Key Deliverables

• Support a secure, reliable infrastructure supporting corporate and DevOps operations
• Ensure all infrastructure is on the latest versions and fully patched
• Participate in the on-call rotation and ensure high operational availability

Your Daily Tasks

Infrastructure Operations

• Manage corporate infrastructure stack, including hypervisors, VMs, and AWS
• Secure and monitor services across hybrid environments
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance aligned with SLA/compliance
• Triaging infrastructure incidents and escalating as necessary

Platform & System Management

• Deploy and manage infrastructure across cloud and data centers
• Administer Active Directory, Entra ID, and authentication systems
• Manage Microsoft 365 ecosystem and Azure/Entra ID

Automation & DevOps Support

• Maintain Linux-based global server fleet (plus some Windows)
• Support CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to provision and configure environments

Governance & Documentation

• Maintain accurate documentation of systems and infrastructure
• Ensure audit readiness through version-controlled documentation

Continuous Improvement

• Drive automation, efficiency, and system hardening initiatives
• Identify and raise infrastructure improvement opportunities

Operational Oversight

• Lead daily operational management, including monitoring and incident response
• Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation
