Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second-level technical support for server infrastructure (Windows & Linux).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve networking and server issues involving switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, servers, and storage.
  • Monitor system performance and respond to alerts to ensure uptime and availability.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across Active Directory and related systems.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Escalate complex issues to Tier 3 support or specialized teams when necessary.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks including lifecycle, patching, updates, and backups.
  • Assist with server and network configuration changes and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Support connectivity and remote access solutions.
  • Collaborate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty claims.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Engineering or a relevant course.
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure roles with expertise in networking, servers, and storage.
  • Knowledge of the ITIL framework.

  • Certifications preferred:

  • VMware Certified Associate (VCA)

  • Juniper JNCIA (Juniper Networks Certified Associate)
  • Aruba ACMA (Aruba Certified Mobility Associate)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server and basic Linux administration.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
  • Experience with network troubleshooting tools (SolarWinds Orion, SCOM, Azure Arc).
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware).
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise networking equipment (Palo Alto, Juniper, Aruba).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
