The
Team Leader
is responsible for managing and addressing facility-related issues reported by clients and occupants. This role ensures timely resolution of maintenance concerns, coordinates with internal and external teams, and upholds a safe, comfortable environment for all building occupants. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the role also drives service quality by coaching team members and ensuring adherence to operational standards.

Responsibilities


• Respond to calls and emails regarding facility concerns, including after-hours and holidays.


• Troubleshoot issues, dispatch technicians, and track work orders using client systems.


• Follow up on service requests, provide updates, and ensure timely resolutions.


• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, de-escalating issues when needed.


• Supervise, mentor, and schedule team activities to meet service standards and deadlines.


• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and ensure seamless service.


• Maintain accurate documentation, conduct team training, and monitor performance for improvement.

Qualifications


• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills and experience using dispatch or call center tools.


• Skilled in creating, tracking, and managing work orders across third-party systems.


• Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management abilities in high-pressure environments.


• Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills and the ability to recommend effective solutions.


• Experienced in team coaching, strategic planning, and driving performance improvements.


• Excellent written and verbal communication; calm and composed during complaints or emergencies.


• Team-oriented, maintains a positive attitude, and flexible to work on-site, weekends, and holidays.

Screening Criteria


• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.


• At least two (2) years of experience in customer service, facilities support, or related field.


• At least two (2) years in a BPO leadership role.


• Experience with facilities maintenance or construction environments is a plus.


• Must have stable employment history.
