Job Summary

The Software Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering software projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage resources, and ensure the quality and success of project deliverables.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and implementation of software projects, defining scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resources.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Oversee change management and ensure proper documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Project Management leading a cross-functional team (Developers (IT), Designers (UI/UX), Testers (QA), Business Analysts, and etc.)
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project, Asana).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
