We help Americans unlock wealth and free themselves from the corporate day-to-day grind through acquisition. As we continue to scale, we're looking for a Valuation Approver to ensure our deal evaluations are rigorous, consistent, and strategically aligned.

Your Main Responsibilities

You will review, assess, and approve valuations to ensure they meet high standards of financial accuracy and fit our acquisition strategy.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Valuation Oversight: Review and approve valuation models based on industry norms, geographic nuances, and strategic fit.
  • Approval Criteria Enforcement: Apply internal criteria (e.g., decline valuations where regulatory or licensing gaps exist, such as non-licensed buyers for insurance agencies).
  • Strategic Deal Support: Advise acquisition and deal teams on appropriate offer terms based on valuation data.
  • Valuation Coverage: Provide coverage for valuation model creation when necessary.
You MUST Have:
  • Strong accounting/finance background (CPA or similar credentials preferred)
  • Extensive experience in business valuation, M&A, or financial analysis
  • Ability to critically assess and approve valuations with minimal oversight
  • Familiarity with small business dynamics and industry-specific valuation considerations
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
You SHOULD Have:
  • 2+ years in a valuation, corporate finance, or M&A role
  • Experience working with distributed or remote teams
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Suite, Slack, and Notion
